This is how my second AM recordings look like. Clicking noise is in the range of 4.5-5.5k and above from 8.5k. Also there is constant noise at 10.5, 11.5, 12, 12,5 15.5 k etc. Does anybody experience the same problem?

That’s was my first try. Thumbscrews fell off so I skipped them. Maybe I need bigger hex heads and nuts, and then they would stay into thumbscrews? One minor misunderstanding was that I put the lid upside down and it was hard to remove it. And I did it twice 😊 So I wrote on lid which side is bottom so that it does not happen again. I will stick with this case! Thanks!

Hello, I have two AM (1.1.0, Firmware 1.5.0) and both in any case have annoying clicking noise (also in a plastic bag and with different batteries clicking noise is present). Without a case, they work ok. So my thoughts are that this noise comes from AM itself and in a closed environment sound gets trapped and recorded. Without case this faint clicking noise 'fly away' and it is not picked up by AM mic. Also, this clicking noise is louder at nights, but when the environment around is loud, then these clicks almost go away completely.

Other nice addition to the software would be an option to schedule a recording period based on local sunrise and sunset time! Birds are most active on the first few hours after sunrise and a few hours before sunset. To achieve that it requires to update field configuration a few times in the season. One quite simple way would be to manually specify a few (3-5) sunrise/sunset dates in Configuration app, so the app can calculate when to start (shift) each day’s recording. For example, Apr 01 – local Sunrise 06:51, local Sunset 20:03 and May 01 – Sunrise 05:34, Sunset 21:07. It’s 30 days apart and Sunrise became 1 hour and 17 minutes earlier, but Sunset - 1 hour and 4 minutes later. So every day till May 01 morning recordings will start (shift) 2 minutes and 34 seconds earlier, but each Evening recording will start 2 minutes and 8 seconds later. ‘Morning’ shift could affect all recordings in a period from 3 AM to 3 PM, but ‘Evening’ shift from 3 PM to 3 AM.

Hi! If I deploy several devices with a different configuration (to find the best one for bird recordings), is there some way to see what configuration current device has been used? Or it’s only possible by checking CONFIG file? I also had some tricky moments when I connected device to my computer to see it doesn’t have configuration I created before deploying it 😊 If the Configuration App can tell the Firmware version, maybe it is capable to tell the name of CONFIG used? Best wishes!
