Per the instructions above I have tried to reflash the audio moth. I have used three cables I know work with other devices and when I hook the audio moth up to the ocmputer a green light comes on the audio moth but when I use the software to flash it, the software does not recognize that there is an audio moth attached. Just now when I switched from usb off to default the little white switch broke off. I am going to turn it to default when I deploy it, send in the data cardd, but I have very little confidence that this audio moth is working as it should.

Alex, I switched to the default and the led was flashing red. So I am hoping by what you are saying that the device is working correctly. Thank you so much for your help! Beth

Both the red and green lights flash. The switch is in the custome setting and no matter how many times i play the sound it keeps flashing the green and red light. This is my first time with and audio moth and I am using it to record the solar eclipse. I am concerned that it will not properly record if it's not even setting the time correctly.
