Hello,
Have just updated the config app to 1.9.2. before trying to configure AM.
My AM (1.1.0) is not being recognised by the config app. When connecetd in USB mode to the PC (Windows 10) I just get one flash of the green light and nothing else. Solid green light if connected with a charging/non data cable (but as expected not recognised by config app when using a non data cable). I have just flashed the firmware so the cable is good for data connection (though it needed the paperclip for the flash app to recognise it). Was working fine earlier in the year/definitely in Februrary. Also the same situation with a second AM.
Any ideas? Is it possible/worth trying to roll back the version of the config app?
Many thanks
Brian.
Thanks Alex, spot on as usual. The computer/usb driver is recognising the AM as the data logger.
Have used another computer to configure for now as updating drivers hasn't rectified and the data logger driver is proving stubbon to remove.
Brian.
Hi Brian, This sounds like an issue with the USB HID driver rather than version 1.9.2. This is why the Flash App could not see the AudioMoth before it was put into flash mode manually. Check the USB control panel with the AudioMoth plugged in and check whether it can see the AudioMoth and whether it reports an issue with the driver. Alex
