I have a question about Audiomoth App requirements.
I have installed a set of audio moth in the field and I'm planning the offload tasks likes change storage card and the batteries. I set the units with the next configuration and I set off the Acoustic Configuration check box. Below is the raw config file to explain this:
{
"timePeriods": [{"startMins":30,"endMins":635},{"startMins":1410,"endMins":1415}],
"ledEnabled": true,
"lowVoltageCutoffEnabled": true,
"batteryLevelCheckEnabled": true,
"sampleRate": 48000,
"gain": 3,
"recordDuration": 60,
"sleepDuration": 3540,
"localTime": false,
"dutyEnabled": true,
"passFiltersEnabled": false,
"filterType": "band",
"lowerFilter": 6000,
"higherFilter": 18000,
"amplitudeThresholdingEnabled": false,
"amplitudeThreshold": 0,
"requireAcousticConfig": false,
"displayVoltageRange": true
}
As I reviewed in the Audiomoth Chime App article, after batteries has been changed, the audiomoth will lost the time clock, so I must set it again using the Audiomoth APP, so I must set the unit in DEFAULT mode and play the chime. Shall it a successful process with "requiereAcousticConfig:false" in the config file?
Thanks a lot Andy. I think that I got confused 😅 when I read and wrote again the processs. So, In the field, I'm going to set USB/off the unit, change the batteries for new ones, set CUSTOM mode the unit and play the chime from Audiomoth App. Thanks a lot.
