Is there any way getting the audiomoth in an automatic triggering status to record bats or even a specific bat species? I read about the British Bat project where part of that seemed to be the case.
I would like use the automatic triggering to test battery life / find out about suitability for surveying bat migration in Special Protection Areas, where the device should be left alone during the breeding season as well as to compare the 'moth' with other devices used in the survey.
Thanks, Patrick
Hi Werner,
yes, the team responded and yes, it should be possible to have a trigger function.
there is a beta firmware for this the team wanted to share but which I didn't get until now.
I still hope it comes since I would like to test it in artificial roosts and their use during migration..spring is almost over but autumn will be here in a few months ;-)
