Can't split to 1 hour files

Hi, I am new to Audiomoth.

I recorded continuously for several hours. I want to split them into 1 hour long files. I have tried to tool in the configuration app, but when I select 1 hr, it splits into 10 minute files instead. Using the latest version - 1.8.0 running on Windows 10 PC. I copied files from SD card onto an external hard drive before doing the split - not sure if that is relevant?

Not sure if this is a bug or I am doing something wrong?

Hi, That looks like a off-by-one bug from when the 1s option was added. Try the older version here - https://github.com/OpenAcousticDevices/AudioMoth-Configuration-App/releases/tag/1.7.0. Alex

Thanks Alex, I guess I can set up the sleep cycle mode to record on for 59 mins - and sleep 1 min. which would have a similar effect, although with 1 min gap between one file and the next. Jim

We normally use 3595 s record time and 5 s sleep time to generate hour long recordings that start on each hour. You can make much longer recordings, hour long recordings tend to be easy to work with. They also avoid the 4.3GB WAV file size limit which becomes a factor at high sample rates.
