cannot set the clock I have downloaded the audio moth chime software and have the device set to custom and the clock will not set

I am following up oin this thread because I am experiencing the same problem setting up the time on my new AM device. The device was shipped directly from the EclipseSoundscapes.org.

When I set the device to 'custom' both red AND green lights blink. When I set it to 'default', the red light alone blinks rapidly. I have checked the SD card, and it appears to be properly seated.

The SD Card is the one that shipped - SanDisk Extreme 64GB.

Can someone suggest next steps I should try?

Hi,

The problem is that the AudioMoth has been configured with no recording schedules. Thus the instructions from EclipseSoundscapes.org will not work. Switching to CUSTOM will result in a red and green LED flashing together to warn that there are no recording periods set and the AudioMoth will not reach the stage of listening for the acoustic chime. Contact info@eclipsesoundscapes.org to see what they recommend you do.
