Hi all,
I have an audiomoth updated to the latest (1.9.1) software. When I run the Config app, it doesn't seem to create a proper config file onto the SD card and generally, the recording situation doesn't work. It worked only once, as a test, and since then the TXT file just won't get updated by the app. Tried reformatting the card, flashing the AM again. Perhaps someone could share with me a default CONFIG.TXT file and I can just fill in it manually, please? Or help me troubleshoot? I have a mac (OS 13.5) and a little audiomoth 1.2.0.
Thanks!
D
Hi Diane, The CONFIG.TXT file is an output file generated by the AudioMoth each time you switch from USB/OFF to DEFAULT or CUSTOM. It's purpose is to serve as a record of the configuration that is set on the AudioMoth. Can you confirm what model and version SD card you are using. You should be able to switch to DEFAULT and the AudioMoth will start making a continous recording, flashing the red LED as it writes to the SD card. Can you describe what you see and share the CONFIG.TXT file that is generated. Alex
