Hi Everyone, This isnt a cable issue or moth issue because I have tried multiple. This seems to be an app issue. When I plug in the audiomoths to the computer the new updated app recognises it and I can configure a schedule and press configure, at which point it changes from 1970 to the current time, however the app is continually flashing black and grey and the audiomoth green configure button flashes to a state where you can press it and cant. The result is that the schedule is set but not the time. I have tried the older version of the app and it doesnt do this and works fine. Has anyone else had similar issues?

This is now happening to me as well after updating to firmware 1.8 and using configuration app version 1.7 on windows 10. I am able to set the time. The LED on the device remains a constant green and does not flicker with the app flicker. I downloaded the old version of the app as you suggested, Alex, and it also exhibits the issue, though the flicker is less frequent than it is with the new app. I have energizer lithium AA's in the audiomoths for what it's worth.
Hi, Is it possible to try (i) another computer, (ii) another USB cable, and/or (iii) another AudioMoth device to narrow down where the issue might be? Also, could you try the older version of the Config App which is available here - https://github.com/OpenAcousticDevices/AudioMoth-Configuration-App/releases/tag/1.5.1 - to see if it still occurs. No-one else has reported this so I think it must be something in your setup that is causing the issue. Is this Windows, Linux or Mac? Alex
Hi Alex, Im, still getting these issues even when uninstalling the other apps, this issue occurs all the time whether other apps are open or not, it didnt happen with the older version of the app, just when I downloaded the new version, its starting to be a bit of a nuisance because sometimes it flashes so often I struggle to configure the device. Its not related to the moth or cable as the old app was fine. I have uninstalled the old app to try and see if this was the issue but still no luck. Any ideas?
Hi, This sounds like you are running more than one app (Config App, Time App and/or Flash App) at the same time and they are both trying to talk to the same device.
