I am getting an error message after I upgrade the firmware on units to 1.5.0, when I open the Configuration app. I am using the 1.4.1 version of Config app.
"The firmware installed on your AudioMoth may not be supported by this version of the Audiomoth Conifg app"
Should I be concerned about this, or just click it away?
Thank you!
Ok, gotcha!
The apps will interfere with each other as they are both trying to talk to the same device. This is what generates the spurious message. We normally to large batches by going through the batch once using the Flash App to update the firmware, and then go through the batch in the Configuration App to set the configuration.
It is true that I have the Flash app open. Would it be best to open in it, flash a unit, then close it before opening the Config app? I have 60 to do, so was going to do them in a batch. I am using Windows 10 Enterprise version 1909.
Also, can you confirm what operating system and version you are using. Thanks.
This should be fixed in the next version of the Config App released in a couple of weeks. Do you still have the Flash App running? They are likely to be interfering with each other which is the cause of the spurious warning.
It also seems to keep popping this message up, so makes it difficult to program units...
