Hello, I have been lent two audiomoths by my phd supervisor for my study. I have followed all setup instructions and when I run the configuration, the time does not go black, but remains greyed out. Having searched through this forum, I thought it might have been a USB issue, so I purchased a usb data cable specifically. No dice, I'm afraid. I thought perhaps they are old and needed new firmware, and I have successfully flashed both devices with 1.2.2. The configuration app is still not recognising the units when I plug them in. I have been through the instructions meticulously. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? (Presumably this is a user error since it is happening to both units?) Thanks!

Hi Morgan
Simplest explanation would be an incorrect switch position.
Make sure that it's set to the CENTRE position - "USB/OFF" - when configuring.

Hi, All the AudioMoth hardware will work fine with the 1.2.2 firmware. Can you confirm what operating system you are using and what version of the configuration app you are using.
Does the AudioMoth appear to be working correctly? With an SD card does it write WAV files with the red LED flashing when you switch to 'DEFAULT' mode. Without an SD card do both LED flash when you switch to 'DEFAULT' mode.

It's a shame that the .wav files don't include the firmware version in the wav file INFO chunk - a thought for the next generation maybe?
