I never knew that you could get a just a charging cable and not a data line. I have just tried three different cables and one worked!! Thank you so much for your help!
This is most likely the USB cable. Many are charging cables and have no data lines inside them. Check that it has a USB logo on it and try another one if you can. What operating system are you using in the computer?
I have just tried the configure app and that doesn't register the AudioMoth either. On the outside of the AudioMoth it is 1.2.0 but as my computer doesn't register it I cannot confirm the firmware version. The app just doesn't seem to register it and the computer doesn't register that anything has been plugged in. The green light does come on on the AudioMoth when its plugged in though.
Do the other apps communicate with the AudioMoth? Can you confirm which firmware version the devices have installed? What actually happens when you try to set the time with the Time App?
