Hi,
I've just started a deployment of moths, and unfortunately made a mistake on one of my devices, not setting it to the local time. Thus I have a batch of approximately 300 files that are set 7 hours ahead of the rest of my dataset. Does anyone know a way to batch edit the metadata of these files or their names to subtract 7 hours? Or will I have to do this manually? Best wishes - thanks!
Hi Alex,
Thank you for your response. I have a basal knowledge of python and am learning it now - a script to fix this would be very much appreciated! Having it in the config app would be great - although I'll probably just try to not make the same mistake again next time!
Hi, This sounds like a useful thing we could build into the AudioMoth Config App - the option to change the timezone of recordings, or to apply a time offset. Do you use Python? I could write a quick script that would do this for your. Alex
