Never start recording :-(

in Configuration Support

Hi there,

My Audiomoth 1.10.1 doesn't record.

I'm sure I'm making a mistake somewhere.

Batteries are ok. it retains the correct time too.
Configuration seems ok (screenshots included)

I set it up.

I push Configure Audiomoth, of course.

I disconnect the usb cable.

I switch the device to CUSTOM.

Then, Green led only flashes very shortly.... until (apparently) the first recording period.

Then, green+red are flashing shortly, and cyclically. as if there was a recording failure as mentioned there : https://www.openacousticdevices.info/led-guide

Could someone help me here ??

I'm really stuck.

I also tried different SD Card.

Smaller (16Gb), Bigger (64Gb)

Formatted as FAT32, exFAT.

It has never recorded anything.

Would it be a SD Card slot failure ? it doesn't seem but I cannot see it well inside.

I may have done something bad, maybe.

What make and model of SanDisk? We only recommend SanDisk Extreme (red and gold) SD cards. Are you running on batteries or on USB power when you try this out?
