I have an Audiomoth 1.2.0 with 1.5.0 firmware and external microphone but I cannot get it to program from the Configuration App any more.
It was working in default mode until it stopped recording after about 1hr with no LED's flashing. Batteries were not flat.
Now the best I can get is the following sequence of LED flashes.
Green pulses until record start time.
Red pulse then pulses as if it's recording.
Long red pulse.
Green an Red pulse together for 26 flashes.
Short Red pulse
Long Red pulse plus long green pulse then back to green and red for 26 flashes.
An empty wav file is created.
I've tried reformatting SD card to exFat and FAT32 but this hasn't helped. I assume the card is OK as it worked in default mode.
Also tried re-flashing the 1.5.0 firmware with no joy.
Any suggestions?
On further inspection this looks like a low battery/ SD card problem.
AM works fine with another card but with the one that the recordings failed on the best I can get is a short burst of red flashing LED in default mode, as if it's recording, then a long red LED with a brief green LED. Nothing is actually recorded though.
SD card works fine in other devices.
Still not sure why I got the firmware/config app mismatch error though.
New SD card has been ordered and I'll run off of external battery pack from now on.
OK, I tried re-flashing the firmware to 1.5.0 but it didn't clear the problem.
Flashed to 1.4.4 and everything appeared to work but I only got a 43sec recording instead of the time programmed.
I then started to get a compatibility warning when configuring so flashed back to 1.5.0. Problem persists and so does warning message.
I'm using Configuration app V1.4.1
