I work for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at a National Wildlife Refuge. We are interested in piloting a project, but would like to know if other agencies, particularly those in the Department of the Interior have purchased an Audiomoth and if there were any ITM hurdles in getting the device connected and scheduler app downloaded to a government computer.
Thanks!
Hi Sarah, I've experience with the DoI via other projects and you should be fine in regards to the AudioMoth. The config app can be accessed without administrator rights on the computer but you should check that USB connected devices are allowed and will be permitted as pendrives / connecting any unknown USB device can be an issue for some departments. They are your two ITM hurdles but achievable if you can confirm locally. Finally, the devices and manufactuered and shipedp from within the USA which will help too. Cheers, Alasdair
