Hello, I'm writing my master's thesis on automatic bird monitoring techniques and it would be of great help if I knew the microphone used in the current version of Audiomoth. However, I was unable to locate it. Does anyone know this information? If not, does anyone know the Acoustic Overload Point, Signal-to-Noise Ratio, and Sensitivity values of the microphone? Thank you for your time in advance.

Hi Nick,
Audiomoth 1.2.0 and AudioMoth Dev use the Knowles SPU0410LR5H-QB microphone. You'll find the datasheet here:
https://www.digikey.co.uk/en/products/detail/knowles/SPU0410LR5H-QB/2420974?srsltid=AfmBOooclMbcln7VAgqUK_PwC3qmlruZJaBbEm9QNCPrQTWV1PBKvWrG
After the microphone there is an amplifier with amplitude gain of x11 and then a software controlled amplifier whose gain can be varied over the range shown below.
All gains are direct voltage ratios (not dB).
The resulting voltage is then converted to a 16-bit signed integer on the scale of -1.25V to +1.25V.
