Hi, I am trying to use my Audiomoth for on-the-fly recording. I've set the sleep duration to 0s, the recording duration to 60s and am using the 'Default' setting. The sample rate is set on 48. I get the green light flashing regularly but the red light doesn't appear to flash at all. I managed to get it to record once but that is it. I've gone through and re-formatted the SD card between each attempt; I'm probably missing a step somewhere but can't see where. Any advice would be very welcome.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Kind Regards
Sarah Fischer
Hi Sarah, This should work fine. If you are getting a green LED flashing whilst in DEFAULT mode it means that the AudioMoth tried to write to the SD card and failed (shown by both the green and red LED lighting up together) and then waiting to try again 60 seconds later (record duration plus recording duration). What make and model of SD card are you using? Are you sure that you are formatting them as FAT format cards. Can you post a screenshot from the application that you are using for the formatting and the configuration setting that you are using. Alex
