AudioMothDev Switch Input - Suggestions for switch?

I am planning on using the onboard switch input on the AudioMothDev board and need to know what switches are available/suggested that will be waterproof? Would this one work...https://bluerobotics.com/store/comm-control-power/switch/switch-10-5a-r1/ ?? It only has ON/OFF so could I just use to turn on Default?

The first recording was short because the AudioMoth was switched to CUSTOM in the middle of a recording period. The duration of the record/sleep cycle is 60 seconds, so all recordings should start on a round minute. The first recording started at 10:53:15 so was only 40 seconds long, so that all subsequent recordings fell onto the specified schedule.

OK, thanks. I was also curious at what point might the recording get interrupted by a too low voltage? I'm using a LiPo 3.7 volt battery and usually I see the readout on the app to be 3.8V

The low voltage cutoff triggers when the supply voltage to the processor drops below 2.8V. With a LiPo the actual battery voltage is typically then below 3.0V. It’s a bit hard to predict as the battery voltage in the WAV file headers is measured under quite light load but the supply voltage will typically drop when the battery is under load writing to the SD card.

Switching to CUSTOM would be the safer option. You can then set a 24 hour recording period from 00:00 to 00:00 and use cyclic recordings of 59 minutes and 55 seconds recordings with 5 second sleep intervals between them. This would mean that all recordings (apart from the first) would start on the hour (making analysis potentially a bit easier), and if an SD card write error occurs at any time, all the preceding recordings will be intact.

Can you generate a summary of the files that were written to the SD card with the ‘Summarise AudioMoth Files’ tool in the Config App.

Below is the summary. I set recordings at 5 sec sleep, 55 sec record. Turned on the switch and did 5 recordings, the first cut out early, the 2-3 recordings went as planned, the last recording I turned off the switch early. Wonder why the first recording was cut short?
