AudioMothUSBMic static noise from the board?

Now that I got the USB Mic working, I am seeing lots of noise using the LiveApp. With nothing plugged into the mic jack, I run the LiveApp program and watch the spectrogram. I cough and see a large signal.

Question: Can noise be picked up by the board itself with nothing plugged into the mic jack?

Strange...unplugging the USBMic board from the computer, the same noise is seen, so can't be the card itself. Must be picking up sounds from my computer mic. How do I disconnect the computer mic?

Now have a data cable. It now has found the USB Mic and when I hit Flash, it comes back and says Cannot switch to Flash. Green light goes out for 1-2 seconds then says Found. Tried several times to Flash but can't. I noticed this time right when I plugged in the data cable, the computer identified as a new device and looked for device drivers. It found 2 but not the AudioMoth one. Don't I need to run Configuration Setup?

I now see the device listed in my control panel as Unspecified device and needs a driver.
