my audio moth didn’t come with a battery holder. It’s just the computer chip part. Is there a way for me to order the part that holds the batteries or get a replacement audiomoth?

That’s alright. I didn’t realize I bought the wrong one. Can I return the one I bought?
Hi Carolyn, It sounds like you bought an AudioMoth Dev board and were expecting a regular AudioMoth 1.2.0 (see the descriptions here - (https://www.openacousticdevices.info/audiomoth). The AudioMoth Dev board is designed to be integrated into other systems, or with other boards, so all the connections and battery input are available through JST connectors. I'm afraid that due to the current chip shortage the standard AudioMoth 1.2.0 isn't available at the moment. It should be back in a few months. Alex
