This only applies for one of the AM's I have been using. Everything seemed to record, files look like normal T.WAV files, but when I try to expand them using the Audiomoth configuration App I receive an error (image 1). If I open the MicoSD all the files are there and they look normal but when I select one and look at the file size it says zero kb. Is there anything I can do to save these files?
Thanks :)
Hi Selina,
A zero files size results when the AudioMoth has opened the file to start writing but then an SD card write error occurs during writing, before the file can be closed. This might occur when the battery runs down during a recording, or if the SD card becomes full. The Config App has an option under the 'Process' menu to 'Summarise AudioMoth Files'. If you select the entire SD card as the folder, it will produce a CSV file that describes all the files on the SD card. If you can post the resulting CSV file here, we can probably diagnose what went wrong.
