Problems with configuration app ver 1.2.2. After my AMs were flashed to ver 1.5.0 it is not possible to get in touch with AM via USB. When connected, the green light on the AM lights up, but it is not activated when opening config.app, there are no connection. I am using an older laptop Lenovo W500. Before flash to 1.5.0 there was contact to AM. Have there been any changes in connection with update to latest version of flashapp and config app. I have tried with several USB cables, expensive and cheaper versions with data transfer without success. When AM is connected to my desktop PC there are no problems

If the AudioMoth can communicate with the Config App and the Flash App then i think it's all fine.
Hi Alex The same situation here with Win7 and AudioMoth firmware above 1.4.n
When AudioMoth is plugged in, Device Manager reports it but there is a warning on the driver: Not installed, code 28.
Attempts to update the driver fail with 'No driver found' message.
Installation from EFM32-Cdc.inf is not possible (Method not allowed).
Except for this warning, app operations seem to go as expected, either firmware upgrade or configuration. So... unless there is a simple remedy, I'll let it go that way.
The Config App should still be able to communicate with the AudioMoth with Windows 7. Using the Flash App with Windows 7 is more problematic as it doesn't always install the correct driver. There is a thread describing the process to install the driver: https://www.openacousticdevices.info/support/main/comment/5bd1eb4b3df870002e872778
You will need this driver file: https://github.com/OpenAcousticDevices/Flash/blob/master/EFM32-Cdc.inf
This is a Windows 7 specific issue. Every later version of Windows will work fine without this process, and Windows 7 should still work fine with the Config App without this. If you plug the AudioMoth into the Windows 7 machine. Check the Device Manager listing to see if the device is there and if there is a problem reported with driver.
Hi Alex, The laptop run with Windows 7 and my desktop Pc run with windows 10. Later I'll try to revert back to the previous firmware version and inform about the result.
Hi, Can you confirm what operating system the laptop is running. If you revert back to the firmware that was previously installed, does the laptop work correctly with the AudioMoth? Alex
