Has anyone experimented with using coatings on the AudioMoth PCB to help aid in moisture resistance? I'm considering masking over the internal microphone and using a silicone-based coating on the rest of the board.
I have used conformal coating for other sensitive electronics (night flight call preamp) and it worked well for me (I used both silicon and acrylic [MG Chemicals]). Depending on the case you have it in it may also be a good idea to add a vent so the water vapor can escape instead of condensating.
