Empty .wav

Hello, I have a problem with an Audiomoth 1.2.0 that I just bought :

With a microSDXC UHS-I Scandisk Extreme 128 GB, my tests (especially in Default mode) record .wav files on the card, but no sound is audible except for a background noise

Have you ever encountered this problem, and if so, where does the problem come from?

Hi, Can you try recording your normal speaking voice about 40cm from the AudioMoth in DEFAULT mode. You should a very good quality recording. Where did this AudioMoth come from? Alex

The case in the photo in the eBay advert has an older style vent. The cases shipping from GroupGets and LabMaker at the moment have a GAW334 vent, rather than the Porelle vent shown. The vents changed last year so this may not be a new device.
