Hi,
I am testing audiomoths with Lithium batteries and Extreme Scandisk 256GB cards. I am using settings 250khz, Med Gain, 24 hours, and version 1.10.1, recording 55s per minute for 24 hours.
Two days into the experiment, one of the Moths started flashing red and green lights simultaneously in periods when the unit was asleep (5s per minute), and the light pattern should be intermittent green. I think this is what was happening: “Short flashes (10ms) of both LEDs between recordings mean an earlier scheduled recording has been cut short due to a recording failure.”
Since the recording light pattern was correct, I left it “recording”. Unfortunately, after a few hours, this unit failed. I inspected the last files with the EXIF tool and found “Error reading RIFF file (corrupted?)”. I am not sure what this means or how to fix it. Any recommendations?
Thanks!
Can you post the SUMMARY.CSV file.
If you switch to DEFAULT does the AudioMoth record normally?
