Hi Alex,
I have Flashed Audiomoth to perform as an USB mic. The app recognized the laptop internal mic as default and when I denied permission for being default input device in hope the app to recognize the Audiomoth as default input device it says "could not initialise input device". I've tried with the three settings (Custom, USB, Default), and nothing happens. Also tried with and without micro SD card and batteries. Am I doing something wrong? I suppossed that if using it as USB mic the micro SD and the batteries would not be necessary. Thank you.
Hello Again Peter!
After some months I'm experiencing a similar issue. With a flashed audiomoth to work as an usb microphone with the latest firmware version (1.2.1) the live app seems to be not recognizing the input device, the message says: could not initialise the input device. When in Custom mode red light flashes at high rate but with no response on the live app, likewise when in Default mode, but with the green light flashing at high rate. At USB/Off mode, the green light is solid. Also did what you recommended before of checking if the device is listed under audio devices, and it is listed as such in the device manager. Help me please. Thank you in advance.
