Hi everybody,
Does anyone also have the feeling Audiomoth's files' sonograms look less well defined (blurred in Raven, pixelated in Audacity) than other devices? We've been using it for nocmig and comparing to many recordings from Xeno-Canto, ours done with Audiomoth are definitely less defined. Could it be something related to the number of bits the recordings are created with?
Many thanks,
Rob
Hi Wim,
Sampling freq is 32kHz and gain High. I usually use Raven, with a FFT window of 587 in a 13" screen, 10 sec of window and up to 11kHz visible on the chart. Brightness and Contrast are set to 61 and 40 respectively.
Cheers,
Hi Rob,
What sampling frequency do you use for your recordings, and what settings do you use in Audacity to look at the spectrograms?
Wim
