Hello, I have deployed Audiomoths in my study sites for a few weeks and I found that one of my Audiomoths now has a problem with the acoustic vents (hole appeared).
The audiomoth still works well and files are recorded but there is no sound. It looks like this is a microphone problem.
Is there any solution?
Thanks.

Hi Loraine, Try making a non-triggered recording of your normal speaking voice with the AudioMoth about 50cm away. It sounds like the microphone has suffered from water damage. There are spare vents available from here - https://groupgets.com/products/replacement-acoustic-vent-for-audiomoth-case. The microphone is replaceable by someone with electronics knowledge. An alternative is to fit an external 3.5mm jack and use this AudioMoth with external microphones and hydrophones - https://groupgets.com/products/sj2-35464a-smt-tr-3-5mm-socket-for-audiomoth. Alex
