I recently got a new AudioMoth, but can`t connect it to my Windows (11pro) Computer properly. After fitting it with batteries and SD-Card and connecting it via USB-cable, I get a slowly flashing green LED (about once every 8-10 seconds). After switching to Default and then switching back to USB/off, I get a constantly glowing green LED, but AudioMoth is not shown in the configuration app or the flash app. In default mode it works absolutely perfect, there is certainly no problem with the all over function. Does someone have any idea how to fix this problem?

Thanks a lot Alex, i will check out the cable problem, and if thats not it, check out if there are any driver-problems. I will report, if I was able to solve the problem

Nearly all problems with communicating with AudioMoth turn out to be due to the USB cable being a charging cable with no data lines. There is no standard marking on USB cables so try another cable that you know definately allows data transfer.
After the cable, sometimes Windows machines have driver issues. Check in the AudioMoth is visible in the Device Manager, and check if it is reporting a driver issue there. It should use the standard inbuilt USB HID driver but occasionally other devices can force their own driver to be incorrectly used instead.
