I have flashed my USB Mic board with AudioMoth firmware 1.9.1 (says current is 1.7) using my Win10 platform and installed the 3 apps...Config 1.10.1, AudioMoth 1.9.1, but when I run the USB Mic app 1.2.3, I get the error "The firmware installed on your AudioMoth is not supported by the AudioMoth USB Microphone App"...so do I install a lower version of AudioMoth? I am a bit confused which version of AudioMoth I should run for my USB Mic board.

Hi Mike,
The AudioMoth USB Microphone should be flashed with the AudioMoth-USB-Microphone firmware. The most up to date version of that is 1.2.4 and is shown in the AudioMoth Flash App when you select the 'AudioMoth USB Microphone' option under the 'Firmware' menu.
You then don't typically need any apps to use the AudioMoth USB Microphone. Just plug it in and switch to DEFAULT or CUSTOM. It will appear as a '384kHz AudioMoth USB Microphone' in the sound input settings. If you want to reconfigure the microphone, you can use the AudioMoth USB Microphone App. However, this is specifically if you want to change the default samples, gain settings, or apply filters. Most of the time you don't need to do this - just use the default settings.
You have installed the standard AudioMoth firmware that implements scheduled recordings, rather than the firmware that implements the USB microphone. That's why the AudioMoth USB Microphone App is giving this warning. Alex
