Next year I intend to research bioacustic in caimans` nest using the audiomoth devices.
I would like to know which is the best case (Audiomoth v1.2.0 case? Or another in the forum), waterproof and that captures audio perfectly inside leaf debris. Has anyone tested before it? Or in sand nests?

Hi Rafael, We don't have any direct experience but I'd guess that if you are deploying AudioMoth inside the nest you could probably use a small sandwich box without a vent and still get very good sound quality and sensitivity. The acoustic vents are quite fragile so you would want to avoid having leaf debris rubbing up against them. Alex
