I applied all the steps recommended in the instructions, but after connecting the paperclip and even after all the LEDs have gone out, it is not seen by the Flash app
Have you tried restarting the application? Also which operating system are you running?
You could try the command line application we used previously, however I'd like to understand this issue so you don't struggle with it in future. Could you download the latest version of the flash app (1.0.1) if you haven't already, attempt to connect to the device a couple of times and then retrieve the log from this location:
To put your AudioMoth into a state where it can be flashed you have to use the paperclip as with the app.
Ah OK, please let me know how can I do to flash the .bin. Using the sd card?
No, but the 32-bit version will run fine on Windows 64-bit.
https://github.com/OpenAcousticDevices/Flash/tree/master/bin
is there a file for the 64bit version?
Forgot: 64bit
Peter, Yes I restarted the App more and more times. I use windows 8.1.

Then either share the log here or email it to me at peter@openacousticdevices.info
Yes, exactly so, but no responce from FlashApp. Is there another way to flash with the .bin file ? Thanks!
Hi Marco,
Could you step through exactly how you're attempting to reconnect your AudioMoth?
The steps should be:
1. Remove batteries from your AudioMoth.
2. Unplug your device.
3. Set switch to CUSTOM.
4. Hold the paperclips tightly to the connections.
5. Attach the USB cable whilst making sure the paperclip doesn't shift.
Do you do anything different to this?
Peter
